Authorizing Delegates to the PSWC Annual Meeting

Dear Chairperson,

The 2025 Pacific Southwest Conference annual Celebration will be hosted by Modesto Covenant Church, April 3 - 5, 2025.

The Church Gathering will be Friday 5 pm – Saturday 1 pm. Dinner will be followed by a concert by the Turlock Community Gospel Choir and evening worship. On Saturday morning at 8:30 am, four seminars for lay leaders will be offered. At 9:50 am, registered church delegates will participate in the 122nd PSWC Annual Meeting.

The Annual Meeting is the highest constituted authority for the conference, its member churches and its institutions. Decisions made at this gathering give direction and momentum to our common ministry. I encourage you to select delegates who will participate in this important time as an expression of our partnership in the gospel. You are also encouraged to pay the expenses of your participating delegates. Others are welcome to participate as general conferees.

The conference constitution states this : Member congregations shall be entitled to representation as following:

• congregations up to 99 members, two delegates;

• congregations with 100 to 224 members, three delegates;

• congregations with 225 to 449 members, four delegates;

• congregations with 450 to 699 members, five delegates;

• congregations with 700 to 999 members, six delegates; plus one delegate for each additional 400 members beyond 1000

Please note that the above numbers are based on official membership rosters, not attendance.

After selecting delegates:

(1) Please ask delegates to register for Celebration and arrange their travel and lodging.

(2) Please complete this form below to authorize delegates. All names of delegates representing your congregation must be listed (ordained and licensed pastors are not automatic delegates and must be listed if serving as a delegate on behalf of their church).

Please note - Ordained and licensed pastors are not automatic delegates and are to be listed if serving as delegates from a church. By virtue of their pastoral credentials, these same ministers may participate as Advisory Delegates, if in good standing with the Ministerial Association.
